Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Puerto Natales; Trek to Weber Bridge

Your journey begins with a transfer from Puerto Natales to Estancia Lazo, a vast 13,000-hectare working ranch beside the tranquil Laguna Verde. From here, your guided adventure unfolds into Torres del Paine National Park along a gentle trail through forests of lenga and coihue trees, where native wildlife—such as guanacos, condors, woodpeckers, caranchos
and owls—can often be seen.

The trail leads to the reflective waters of Honda Lagoon, followed by a gradual climb toward the Lake Toro lookout. At the
top, the view is magnificent: a sweeping panorama of glacier-fed rivers, Andean peaks, rolling valleys and crystalline lakes that stretch toward the Southern Patagonian Icefield.

After soaking in the scenery, descend gently to Weber Bridge where your vehicle awaits. A short drive takes you to Reiversaide Camp, where your private riverside dome and a chef-prepared dinner offer a peaceful and comfortable welcome.

Group transfer in a private vehicle: 2hrs

Day 2: Trek the Pingo Valley; Glacier Grey boat trip

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at camp before a short 30-minute drive brings you to the trailhead for today’s hike through the Pingo Valley. The route follows winding forest trails that open to vistas of the mighty Paine range. At Cascada Los Salmones, the landscape reveals a stunning waterfall surrounded by native forest—a perfect stop for photos and reflection.

Following a relaxed picnic lunch along the riverbank, continue through a beech forest to the boat dock on Lake Grey. Here,
a 3-hour boat excursion awaits. Navigate through a field of luminous icebergs to the towering face of Glacier Grey. If the conditions align, witness the thunderous spectacle of ice calving into the lake’s frigid depths.

Sailing back, admire the famous “ice mushrooms”, the granite peaks of Paine Grande, carved over centuries by wind and snow. Return to Serrano Camp by van and settle in for another delicious meal and restful night.

Group transfer in a private vehicle: 30mins

Length of hike: 3hrs, 10km (6.2 Mi)

Length of boat trip: 3hrs

Day 3: Trek the French Valley

After breakfast, head to the dock on Lake Pehoé for a scenic catamaran crossing to Refugio Paine Grande. Disembark and begin the day’s hike into the French Valley—one of the most spectacular sections of the W.

The trail climbs into a glacial amphitheater surrounded by towering granite walls. Cross the French River via a swaying footbridge, and ascend through a dreamlike terrain of twisted roots and stone paths that resembles a Japanese garden.

At the Plateau viewpoint, rest and take in the breathtaking scenery: Paine Grande and the French Glacier tower above, while to the east rise the horned summits of Los Cuernos. On a clear day, even the turrets of Mt Catedral and Mt Fortaleza can be seen in the distance.

Enjoy a well-earned lunch with these majestic views before retracing your steps to Paine Grande, catching the catamaran back across Lake Pehoé, and returning to Serrano Camp by vehicle.

Group transfer in a private vehicle: 30mins each way

Catamaran: 30mins each way

Length of hike: 7-8hrs, 21km (13 Mi), until the French viewpoint, the "plateau"

Meals: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner

Day 4: Cuernos + Condor Lookouts; Hike Lago Sarmiento/Laguna Amarga

Start your day with a transfer to the Pudeto area along the Paine River. Begin with a loop trail offering unforgettable views of Lake Pehoé and the thunderous Salto Grande waterfall—where glacial water from Lake Nordenskjöld crashes into Lake Pehoé.

Pause at the wooden boardwalks to photograph Paine Grande and the Cuernos rising from the turquoise waters. Then, continue along a gentle trail through windswept plains that carry the scars of the 2005 fire. Reach Nordenskjöld’s black sand shores before climbing to the Cuernos Lookout, with views over the French Valley and Paine’s highest peaks.

After descending, enjoy a light snack before transferring to Sarmiento Lake Ranger Station. From here, begin a new trail that winds toward Laguna Amarga. Along the way, spot guanacos, foxes, flamingos, and other birdlife. Midway, discover ancient cave paintings left by early Patagonian hunters—proof of a deep human history in this wild land.

Continue past lagoons and arid scrub to complete the hike at Laguna Amarga. From here, your vehicle returns you to Serrano Camp.

Total length of hikes: 3hr, 6km/3.7mi and 3.5hr, 6.5km/4mi

Meals: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner

Accommodation: Riverside Camp

Day 5: Trek to Las Torres (The Towers) lookout

The final day begins early with a nourishing breakfast before setting off toward the eastern sector of the park. At the
trailhead, begin your ascent into the iconic Ascencio Valley.

Hike along the river through thick lenga forests, where the roar of waterfalls and the wind in the trees accompany your
footsteps. After an hour, reach a scenic rest stop to admire the valley’s raw beauty. Then continue upward through denser forest and eventually over a massive terminal moraine.

At the summit—900m above sea level—stand before Las Torres, three colossal granite spires rising vertically from a glacial
lake. Enjoy your final trail lunch here, soaking in one of the most iconic views in all of South America.

Descend along the same path and meet your group vehicle for the return to Puerto Natales, carrying with you five days of
unforgettable adventure and wonder.

Group transfer in a private vehicle: 2hrs to trailhead
